Early Cancer diagnosis
For most cancers early detection is important. Only rarely, such as lung cancer, early detection is currently ineffective. Early detection is the primary task of every human being and not merely of the doctor. If left untreated, the malignant tumor while growing up, the institution or the body is destroyed. Since the risk of cancer for a population varies and depends on others emerging environmental toxins or by the elimination of such poisons by environmental laws, as well as dietary behavior and willingness to protect themselves from direct sunlight, but also by the sexual behavior (Durchseuchung a population with potentially cancer-causing virus), shall, for each generation and each country are determined again and again, the individual cancer risk.
The sooner a cancer is detected, the better the chances of cure. It was possible to cure more cancers if they were previously recognized. But not every early detection offers only advantages (see also screening). They exchanged a risk against a bunch of other risks such as false-positives.

Many cancers are detected by the patient due to changes. A doctor visit is recommended for:

noticeable changes in the regular palpation of the breasts
Each of these self-examination is fraught with a very large risk of error. Lumps in the breast can be good harmless, and other lay people can feel for malignant breast tumors only after they have been 1 ml volume – and most likely already have metastasized.
